After the war
After World War II, Richard Winters set ordered to go back into war with Korea. He did not have any desire to go back into war but he was given slack and he was allowed to just "serve" as a regimental planner and training officer. He did not even want to serve as anything in the Korean war but because of his experience it was an order. After about a year of advising with draftees and new soldiers Winters was discharged. After serving Winters bought a farm and raised two children there. After so many years of being a great man he [assed away January 2nd of 2011.
